Some numbers
Nov. 7th, 2008 12:37 pmUS unemployment was reported at 6.5% this morning, the highest it's been since March 1994. Meaning that it was generally lower throughout most of the Bush years than the Clinton years.
Voter turnout rate was virtually the same as in 2004. More people, same percentage.

- 21 percent claimed to be liberal in 2004 versus 22 percent in 2008
- 34 percent claimed to be conservative in both 2004 and 2008
