Ни капельки не иронизирую: осуществленный наконец синтез активированных нуклеотидов из простейшей органики пахнет именно нобелевкой; более того -- попаданием в школьный учебник по биологии!

Вообще в последние несколько лет произошел феерический прорыв по части "происхождения жизни" (тм): в 2006 собрали из отдельных нуклеотидов геном микоплазмы, которая вполне себе тянет на статус "первого гомункулуса"; в прошлом году в капле-пробионте собрали из отдельных же активированных нуклеотидов осмысленные цепочки _без_участия_белковых_катализаторов_. И вот теперь -- синтез самих нуклеотидов.

According to tradition, the hue of this thread “is like the sea, and the sea is like the sky, and the sky resembles the Divine Throne”—serving to remind the Jews of all that is majestic and eternal, and of the obligation to represent these in the world.
