Не дотянули

За Рэйлу Кэмпбелл было вписано около 1,200 голосов, а надо 2,000. Она тут же обратилась в суд, т.к. цифра определяется количеством подписей, требуемых законом для номинации. Эта цифра была недавно уполовинена на тему пандемониума и связанной с ним опасности сбора подписей.

Полагаю, не прокатит: суд просто скажет, что голосовать гораздо безопаснее, чем собирать подписи с миру по нитке, и пирамидон.

Расизм под кроватью

Из Англии новость: там решили "кошеровать" Музей Природоведения. Брейтбарт перепел статью из Телеграфа (которая за платстеной, но скопирована сюда); в частности, сообщают, что собранные Чарльзом Дарвином коллекции и многие другие экспонаты собираются подвергнуть "деколонизации", так как "все такие музеи были созданы для оправдания расистской идеологии" и в них "между экспонатами прячется расизм". Кроме скрывающих расизм экспонатов, потолок одного из крупных холлов Музея Природоведения расписан изображениями хлопковых, чайных, и табачных растений, каковые культуры поддерживали Британскую Империю и напрямую связаны с рабовладением и вообще.
