На "объяснительном сайте" Vox нам объясняют, что левым можно особенно не бояться президентского указа, который якобы определяет еврейство как национальность:

"Title VI does not explicitly prevent discrimination on the basis of religion. In some circumstances, however, discrimination that targets members of a particular faith has been interpreted as national origin discrimination under Title VI, meaning that colleges are required to address it or risk losing federal funding as a result. The Department of Education issued guidance in 2010 that explains how this works."

Ещё там сказано: "The executive order is premised on the idea that anti-Semitism is not sufficiently protected under current interpretations of federal civil rights law."

Да-да, так и написано.

Тот же автор в другом месте отмечает, что по своим профессиональным качествам люди, которых Трамп назначает на судейские должности, значительно превышают назначенцев Обамы:

It’s tempting to assume that Trump’s judicial appointees share the goonish incompetence of the man who placed them on the bench, but this assumption could not be more wrong. His picks include leading academics, Supreme Court litigators, and already prominent judges who now enjoy even more power within the judiciary. [...]

Approximately 40 percent of Trump’s appellate nominees clerked for a Supreme Court justice, and about 80 percent clerked on a federal court of appeals. That compares to less than a quarter of Obama’s nominees who clerked on the Supreme Court, and less than half with a federal appellate clerkship.

In other words, based solely on objective legal credentials, the average Trump appointee has a far more impressive résumé than any past president’s nominees.

And they’re young, too.
