У нас в соседнем городке вот таким вот активизмом занимаются:

The Board of Selectmen, however, will be monitoring the tonnages of trash and organics that are collected by Casella on a monthly basis. If the amount of trash does not decrease, then the board may take further steps to increase the amount of organic materials that are composted by Hamilton residents. Those steps may include increasing the price of trash bags, returning to bi-weekly trash pickup and implementing notices or fines for non-compliance with the ban.

О, recycling - это отдельная пестня! Прошли те времена, когда за него платили, теперь сбор такого мусора стоит столько же или даже больше, чем обычного. Но надо продолжать жрать кактус.
